"Hands down, best DJ ever. Matt was awesome. From beginning to end, he made the whole process fun! He made himself available whenever we needed him (phone, email, in person chats), and always remained professional and friendly. He provided great advice and suggestions, and did a great job at reading our style.My husband and I challenged Matt to make our wedding EPIC. He passed, with flying colors. The dance floor was packed from 8:30 pm to 1am. Guests loved the oldies played during cocktail hour, the ornate string covers during the ceremony, and reception dance music. Mad props to Matt, as well, for creating an amazing mashup of songs for my dad and I to perform a routine to.
I will be recommending Matt and XS events [PLM] to all of my family and friends."

"In the past couple years we have been to numerous weddings and with us having been engaged, we paid attention to the vendors at each wedding to help us decide on who we would like to hire for our own wedding. Along with my government contracting job, I have been working at Hard Times Café and Cue for the past 7 years as well as Stevenson Ridge Event Venue for the past 2 years. I have seen my fair share of DJs (some better then others). A family friend of ours got married at The Silk Mill last Memorial Day Weekend, which is where we discovered Matt. What made him stand out from the numerous other DJs we've seen, was his energy and involvement with the crowd (but not over involvement). There were ALWAYS people on the dance floor. He even got up and taught the Wobble to the crowd. The music he played was fitting to all ages and included numerous genres, which seemed to satisfy everyone's taste in music. We contacted Matt soon after that wedding to book our event. He was extremely helpful and organized in helping us with our event. Our wedding was nothing short of amazing! Matt lived up to the expectations that we witnessed at our friend's wedding and then some. Everyone was one the dance floor until the end of the night! We received numerous compliments from friends and family about how fun the wedding was and in my opinion it has a lot to do with the DJ. He helped set the mood and kept the party going! I have no doubt that Matt would do an excellent job at your event."

"Tim was my officiant and DJ. I was apprehensive about him being both as I was not sure how that would work out. However, he did an amazing job. He had a wonderful assistant who cued the music during my ceremony and she stepped in to help where my florist failed. She arranged my flowers for the whole wedding. Tim was great all around. He listened to what we wanted and offered his knowledge where we were quite honestly lost. Everything was perfect. I gave him very few song selections and let him go with it. His music selections were great. People laughed, danced and a good time was had by all. Tim was very upbeat from our rehearsal (the night before) and through the wedding. Our venue was in the country and quite the travel. So happy that at last minute I chose Tim to DJ/Officiate. Originally we were just going to play music from iPod or something. DJ all the way!!"

"During the drive from the venue to our hotel following the wedding, my husband and I were reflecting on the day and specifically how XS Events' Matt [DJ] and Shari [Day of Coordinator] made it so fun and seamless. The music was great and our guests loved how Matt came out on the dance floor and taught the Wobble. I'm pretty anti-group dances but am glad that I took Matt's advice to start the dancing portion of the reception with a group dance; he really got everyone out on the dance floor! Also, take it from e, a type-A, take-the-bull-by-the-horns kind of person control freak: If you're hosting your own wedding like I did, YOU NEED A DAY OF COORDINATOR. There was no way that I could've kept all of the trains running while taking pictures, visiting with guests, and being present on my wedding day went by so quickly. XS Events was great and I wholeheartedly recommend their services."

"We recently used XS [Events] [PLM] to be the DJ at our wedding ceremony and reception. Matt was incredible! He worked with us for several month prior to establish a playlist with the songs we wanted played throughout the night and helped us to pick out specific songs for events like the cake cutting and the bouquet toss. Matt provided the audio equipment for the ceremony as well as all the audio and lighting equipment for the reception that followed. He did an excellent job of keeping our timeline for first dances, toasts, and other events on track. Having Matt as our DJ was a big part in having a terrific wedding celebration with our friends and family. He had all of the features that you might look for from a bigger Party DJ company, but he was more affordable and MUCH more personable! We highly recommend Matt and XS [Events] as a DJ for any of your celebratory events."
